Beginning July 1, 2026, L7 Vapors will be halting sales of Delta and hemp-derived cannabinoid products at our stores.
This decision is based on upcoming changes to Tennessee’s hemp product regulations, the way those changes are expected to affect available products, and our desire to make sure L7 Vapors continues operating carefully within current guidelines.
Tennessee has been updating how hemp-derived cannabinoid products are regulated, including oversight, licensing, product requirements, and restrictions on certain product types. The Tennessee Department of Agriculture notes that hemp-derived cannabinoid laws and permanent rules have already been part of the state’s regulatory structure, and the state has continued moving toward tighter control of these products.
For L7 Vapors, the practical result is simple: rather than rush into a changing product category with uncertain availability and customer demand, we are choosing to pause hemp product sales and re-evaluate the category over the next few months.
Why We Are Making This Change
The hemp product category in Tennessee is changing quickly.
New state requirements are affecting what products can be sold, how they are handled, and which products vendors are able or willing to supply. Tennessee’s 2025 hemp legislation overhauled parts of the regulatory structure for hemp-derived cannabinoid products, including supplier, retailer, and wholesaler requirements.
Because of those changes, the products available after July 1 may look very different from the products many customers are currently familiar with.
That creates a few issues:
Customers may not want the replacement products that remain available.
Vendors may change product lines quickly.
Some currently popular products may no longer be practical for us to carry.
The category may require more time to settle before we can make a responsible long-term decision.
Rather than stock products that may not match customer expectations, we believe the better move is to pause, review the market, and make a more informed decision once the new rules are fully in effect.
What Products Are Affected?
This pause applies to L7 Vapors’ hemp-derived cannabinoid products, including products commonly referred to as:
Delta products
Hemp-derived cannabinoid products
Hemp gummies
Hemp vapes
Hemp flower or similar products, where applicable
This change does not affect our regular nicotine vape products, e-liquids, devices, coils, pods, disposables, or accessories.
Will L7 Vapors Bring Hemp Products Back?
Possibly.
We are not saying this category is gone forever. We are saying that L7 Vapors is going to take a step back and review what the market looks like after the law changes take effect.
Over the next few months, we will evaluate:
Which products are available from reputable vendors
Whether those products fit the new Tennessee requirements
Whether the remaining product options are something our customers actually want
Whether customers are willing to migrate to products that may be different from the popular items they are used to
Whether the category makes sense for L7 Vapors long term
That last part matters. If the only products available are options customers do not want, then carrying them just to technically keep the category alive would not make much sense.
Retail shelf space is not a museum. If customers do not want the new version of the category, we are not going to pretend otherwise.
Why Not Just Replace Everything Immediately?
Because replacement products are not always equal.
A product may technically be available, but that does not mean it matches what customers have been asking for. Potency, format, ingredients, packaging, flavor, effect profile, and customer familiarity can all change.
We do not want to tell customers, “It’s basically the same,” when it may not be.
That is why we are giving the category time to settle. Once vendors, regulators, and manufacturers adjust to the new Tennessee rules, we will have a better idea of what products are realistic, compliant, and worth offering.
What Customers Should Expect
Starting July 1, 2026, customers should expect L7 Vapors to stop selling Delta and hemp-derived cannabinoid products while we review the category.
During this pause, our staff can explain what has changed from a store-policy standpoint, but we cannot provide legal advice or make claims about what customers should personally use.
We will continue focusing on the product categories that remain core to L7 Vapors:
Nicotine e-liquids
Disposable vapes
Pod systems
Mods and tanks
Coils and replacement pods
Accessories
Customer support from staff who actually try to help instead of just pointing vaguely at a shelf
Our Position
L7 Vapors has always tried to adapt as the market changes. We have seen major shifts before, especially with disposables, e-liquids, and hardware trends.
This is another one of those moments.
The difference is that hemp-derived products are now facing major regulatory changes in Tennessee, and we do not want to move blindly. We would rather pause the category, review the available options, listen to customer feedback, and decide whether it still fits our stores.
If the category stabilizes and there are products that make sense for our customers, we will re-evaluate.
If the available products do not match what customers are looking for, we may choose not to bring the category back.
The Bottom Line
Beginning July 1, 2026, L7 Vapors will halt sales of Delta and hemp-derived cannabinoid products due to changes in Tennessee’s hemp product regulations and uncertainty around future product availability.
We will review the category over the next few months and decide whether it makes sense to bring hemp products back based on vendor availability, product compliance, customer interest, and whether customers are willing to move toward different types of products than the ones currently popular.
We appreciate our customers’ understanding while this category goes through yet another round of “because apparently simple was not an option.”
